Nice hotel in a quiet area to get to know Barcelona comfortably

The hotel is located in nice neighborhood. For us it seemed calmer than other districts. Sant Pau Hospital, Sagrada Familia and Torre Glories are within walking distance. Airport is easily accessible by train, there is also a metro station close by the hotel. The room was cozy and had all necessary things. Comfortable beds. Our room was with a window to courtyard, so it was quite silent as well. The breakfast offered was good.

The staff on book in were excellent. Location was great. Very quite location.

They had no tea towels to wipe up. Fan in bathroom didn't work. They also tried to charge us twice for room upgrade.

Spacious suite and great location

Have to ring a bell to get in every time. Start was quick but it feels like we're not autonomous. Bright tv led in the room we had to cover with a sticker because no way to turn it off

The exit to the roof terrace opens after 10 am and closes at 10 pm, so my husband had to go downstairs from the 8th floor to smoke.despite the fact that there is an elevator, it’s not very comfortable . lack of slippers - but we knew about it

Excellent stay apart from wifi issues

Overall, I had a particularly enjoyable five night stay at this hotel. Check-in was particularly good, and I really liked my top floor room with views out to Barcelona's Gherkin (Torre Glòries). Staff in all areas were professional and friendly - reception, restaurant and housekeeping. The variety and quality of items available at breakfast is very good. The hotel makes some effort to change the hot food items and fresh fruit selection each morning; other items remain unchanged. The hotel is handily located to stations for two of the main metro lines - lines 1 and 2 - as well as a Renfe train station.

One wifi signal applies to the whole property. Each time one logs in, one has to click agree to terms and conditions and see some dated online advertising for this hotel chain. The signal drops out fairly frequently - reception suggested logging in and out once every hour, but on my final morning in particular, the signal was dropping out more quickly than this. In recent months, I have been able to get fast reliable internet in accommodation in third world countries that costs a tiny fraction of the cost of a room in this hotel. This hotel, and perhaps the chain as a whole, need to improve the quality of internet provision so that it befits a decent hotel in a first world country in 2024.

2 night stay for a city break in Barcelona in a nice, comfortable, clean and friendly hotel.

Nice hotel with a good location if you choose to trevel by Metro in Barcelona. Room was very clean, spacious enough with good storage space for clothes and luggage. The staff is very friendly and eager to help and the wifi works fine. Complementary coffee, tea, water and apples was a nice touch.

Soundproofing of rooms could be better as people on the hallway can be easily (over)heard form inside rooms. Breakfast includes quite a nice, varied selection, bit is the same every day and can become monotonous over a longer stay. Also, the breakfast room is quite small and it can happen quite often that you have to wait for seating.

Had a nice stay overr 3 nights while travelling for business.

Nice, clean, comfortable. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, Room size was ok and plenty of space for luggage and clothing. Complimentary coffee, tea, water and apples is a nice touch.

Sound isolation could be a bit better as noises from the hallway can be easily heard from inside the room. Breakfast has quite a large selection of food/products, but is the same each day - so a little variation could make longer stays nicer.

Perfect hotel

Everything was perfect. We got free room upgrade from tripple to suite. Room was nice, spacious and quiet with comfy beds. Bathroom was also very nice and spacious. Breakfast tasty (4 hot meals - every day scrambled eggs and the others varied between sausages, mushrooms, bacon, lentils; crispy pastries, chorizo, jamon serrano, cheese, various cakes, jams, coffee, tea, juices, even chilled sparkling wine), staff polite and helpful (at reception every time complimentary sparkling wine, water with lemon and cake!). Hotel is very close to metro L1 and L2 and train station Clot (which is the best option to get to airport).

It's a bit far from city centre (about 10 minutes with always overcrowded metro to Catalunya). The layout of the wardrobe, safe and TV could have been better (a little uncomfortable access to the wardrobe/safe). But that's just a details.

Perfect location. Everything was easy to reach by the metro. Rooms were quiet despite the central location.

Wonderful

The hotel staff is very nice and helpful. We have got all we needed. Breakfast was ok, the hotel is smaller than another Leonardo Hotels so the breakfasts were not so various but everyone can find his favorites. The metro station is 3 walking minutes. Great stay.

Exceptional

Located near El Clot metro station, it has very good connections to everywhere in the city. A direct bus line takes you to the beach. Very nice breakfast. Hotel very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. The room had possibility for coffee and tea making, the hotel gave us free apples, pastry and lemonade.
